A good and compact Canon SLR, but at current prices it's overshadowed by its 700D sibling

I needed to have a lighter weight camera and this camera ticked all the boxes. I am really pleased with it and it is producing sharp photos.
I have not yet used the movie facility but feel sure that it will produce good results

Hummed and hawed for a long time before buying this. I already have an EOS50D which is six years old and is still my main camera, but over the last few years I've dabbled with bridge cameras to use for travelling, walking, cycling and other occasions when you don't want to carry the full kit.

This combination of camera, wide angle zoom and telephoto zoom lens is a brilliant package. The lenses both have image stabilisation which negates the constant need for a tripod and the picture quality is first class.
