B&W P7 Wireless review

B&W has never made a disappointing pair of headphones yet, and the P7 Wireless aren't going to buck the trend. In fact they're absolutely excellent P7, setting a lofty standard that rivals in this price range will struggle to emulate. B&W has built a pair of Bluetooth headphones that impress with their stunning sound quality, elegant looks, premium comfort and slick, user-friendly Bluetooth controls. There’s really no downside to these cans at all - unless, of course, you're operating on a tight budget. If you can afford them, they belong on your shopping list. Stylish, comfortable design; Superb audio performance; Easy to use and live with;

Nothing worth noting;

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless Headphones Review

It was way back in 2013 that we reviewed Bowers & Wilkins P7 headphones. The headphones exuded luxury and they sounded great. Here in 2016, Bowers & Wilkins has finally taken the plunge into wireless with the P7 - the company ended its long abstinence from wireless in 2014, and has slowly been...

Superb audio with strong bass and balanced mids and highs; excellent battery life; top-notch premium build quality that exudes luxury and durability; excellent (passive) noise isolation; folds for easier storing when traveling; work as wired headphones; good quality when making calls; included...

Cable lacks an inline mic for making calls; bulky size means its style might not be for everyone; strong bass isn't for everyone's audio tastes either

If you love your music, and if you're reading this then you probably do, then the Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless is well worthy of your consideration. They're a touch heavy, but supremely comfortable, the memory-foam cups create a good seal around your ears and the sound they produce is absolutely...

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless Review

It's been interesting to watch Bowers & Wilkins tweak its audio lineup in recent years. The company has gradually added Bluetooth versions of its wired headphones, and generally speaking, it has done a fantastic job. The new, over-ear P7 Wireless is a $399.99 alternative to the wired P7 ( at Amazon) , and its high price will be a deal breaker for some. If the handsome pair is in your budget, however, rest assured that its audio performance is top-notch, with superb bass response and clear definition in the high-mids and highs. There's almost nothing to complain about aside from price, so the P7 Wireless earns our Editors' Choice award. DesignThis circumaural (over-the-ear) P7 Wireless ( at Amazon) looks quite similar to its wired predecessor, which is to say, it looks stunning. Available in black, the pair features a soft leather-lined headband, as well as leather-lined earcups and earpads. Where there isn't leather, there's aluminum; the P7 Wireless looks a little like the inter...

B&W P7 Wireless

If you're looking for over-ear Bluetooth headphones, you're probably going to be making your selection based on four main factors: their sound quality, their aesthetics, their comfort and their price.

Stylish design; Good audio quality; Easy usability

Nothing of note

These are the best I have ever come across

I have been involved in music for years. I was looking for a pair of headphones that gave me clarity and depth, not just at home, but also for my mobile music. These are the best I have ever come across. Outstanding. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Exquisite sound quality and design

I purchased the P7's to use with my iPhone and iPad. I own the Bowers & Wilkins A7 Airplay speaker system and have been extremely impressed with not just the sound quality but also the design and build too.

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless Headphones

The first and the most important point of my conclusion is that I no longer see the need to buy regular P7 headphones because P7 Wireless cost only $50 more and does both jobs great.

classy design; premium materials; legendary sound tuning; 17hr battery life; BT4.1 w/aptX; wired and wireless connection

involved wired cable attachment

Excellent set of headphones

As with many people, I've gone through a range of headphones, mostly in-ears of late (Sennheiser IE8s, Shure 535s). I purchased these as a replacement for my in-ears and very excellent Shure 535s and have been blown away by the quality of the product (it feels like an expensive premium product) and...
