I have re-written this review so many times in my head and in so many different states of severe emotion. Elation, despair, frustration, pure exhilaration and exhaustion to name but a few, but I admit it; this game almost broke my spirit.

The inability to play your online with friends

The transition from consoles to PC has been a mixture of ups and downs for Dark Souls . After the initial console release, PC fans wanted to experience the game as well, setting up a petition to Namco Bandai that actually pushed the company into porting the game to PC.

Players who live Demon's Souls and are hunting for another challenge then look no further than Dark Souls, because it is one of those games that player will appreciate after successfully defeating the BOSS.

By all rights, I ought to hate Dark Souls. I can't think of a single game that's responsible for causing me so much sleeplessness and stress, yet From Software's viciously difficult role-playing game is still something of a masterpiece.

I have been anticipating Dark Souls for quite some time now. It's the follow-up to my favourite game, the much lauded and notorious Demon's Souls, a game that took people by surprise for its uniqueness as much as its difficulty which interested people enough to make it a surprise success story.

Engrossing and a real challange

Not for everyone

First I'd just like to preface by saying that (even though it won't) this game SHOULD go down in history as being not only one of the best games to ever exist, but also one of the best pieces of media.

I'll admit that I'm not the best at keeping cool playing games. Sometimes my emotions get the best of me. And in my last 20 years of gaming a few pads may have been thrown. But not during this game. Why you ask? Well dying is important in this game. When you start this game you will be overwhelmed.
