Dragon Age: Origins

If you've been watching TV at all over the past couple of weeks, you've probably seen the commercial for Bioware's new RPG Dragon Age: Origins. The slick rendered video is enough to catch anyone's eye, as it shows off not only some pretty cool fighting, but also an enormous dragon landing to...

Average Graphics, Average Game!

I have played the game. It feels dated now. There is not much fun in playing this game. If you have played the Fable series, you will find nothing new while playing this game. The game was released way back in 2009.

Dragon Age: Origins Review - BioWare Fantasy RPGs Return

Baldur's Gate was a touchstone game in computer RPGs and its spiritual successor, Dragon Age: Origins has the rocks to be another. You are a Grey Warden, warriors tasked with fighting off the Darkspawn and The Blight, a catastrophic event in which an Old God is corrupted and leads the Darkspawn as...

...You've been waiting for a new Baldur's Gate ; ...You want a familiar fantasy feel with some new twists on the formula; ...It's more about the experience and less about the technical aspects surrounding a game

...Frame rate issues and some distracting textures hurt your eyes; ...You're annoyed by the idea of NPCs shilling downloadable content ..

A GREAT MEDIEVAL GAMES BY THE CREATOR OF MASS EFFECT (BIOWARE) CREATE YOUR OWN HERO AND BUILD YOUR REPUTATION BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL!

finishing Dragon age: Origins made me feel like I'v played a true RPG. I don't usually play RPGs, so when I decided to play this game I wasn't exactly feeling like a "veteran" of the genre. The game has a predictable "Lord of the rings" tale that has that "good VS evil" feel to it.

Review – Dragon Age: Origins

i really enjoyed my ~58 hours with this game. its better than mass effect 2 (which i started soon after finishing DA and am currently playing) in all of the ways i can think of without trying too hard.

Roleplaying Game This Dragon's not for turning. Bioware have already hit RPG gold with one of my favourite games this gen, Mass Effect, and with the sequel due out in a matter of months they've seen fit to give us Dragon Age: Origins.

OXCGN's Dragon Age: Origins Review: Epic RPG Heaven or Hell?

BioWare has developed some of the best role-playing games of all time. Its catalog includes some of the best titles in the genre, such as Baldur's Gate, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect. Dragon Age: Origins does not stray too far from the formulas pioneered in those games.

Dragon Age: Origins Review (Xbox 360)

Now when comments like "The spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate" are thrown around in the land of Role Playing Games someone is either taking the piss or has some mighty big Cojones and better be willing to back themselves.

Dragon Age: Origins - Witch Hunt Review

Morrigan's sharp tongue and vain indifference made her one of Dragon Age: Origins ' most intriguing characters, so you might have been excited to learn of her return in that role-playing game's newest downloadable content, Witch Hunt.

Some of the environments look lovely; A cool boss fight

Morrigan's role is so tiny that it's practically unnecessary; Throwaway party members; Way too easy; Story lumbers toward an ending that illuminates nothing
