I'm going to preface this with a YMMV, so keep in mind this is just my experience. I ignored the warning on the basis that I disagreed with it, and bought one to match with my (bought at the same time) Pi4B. The problem isn't with the Pi itself, but with the 'official' power supply, which drops in voltage as the load increases. It works ok with the official supply, but often (possibly always?) shows the yellow lightning bolt indicating that the pi is running under-voltage.
