Everyone loves animals. At least, everyone should. If you don't, you're probably deranged and I suggest that you talk to a psychiatrist before you end up killing us all. As for the rest of us well-balanced folks, animals are cool and visiting the zoo is always an entertaining experience.

It's easy to see where the "Tycoon" part of Zoo Tycoon 2 comes in-- babies. More and more babies...to sell on the black market, I like to pretend. Sure the nature show bit is skipped, but magically, pint-sized critters sprout up in exhibits, cute little hearts over their heads.

Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine Mania adds new scenarios and challenges allowing players of all ages and skill levels to test their aquatic expertise, such as rescuing marine animals, restoring their health and releasing them back into the wild.

Zoo Tycoon 2 managed to keep a number of people up late into the night in its original form, and now there's an expansion to help add hours to the fun. Microsoft's new expansion gives you things like sky trams, official Jeep tours, and a gun-less FPS element, but is there really anything new here?

Contrary to some reports, this DOES work on Windows 7, and no glitches that I've found. I use an HP desktop computer. The game and expansion packs all work great, and took me back in time to these simple but extremely entertaining games from my childhood years.
